The Road of Treachery: The most underhanded of any scenario, you will reposition the Seducers into the Underdeep, then convince the Saints commander that a sneak attack through the Underdeep is the way to go. Inform the Seducer commander Ulfri you choose to side with her, and the Saints will attack as expected. The Road of Honesty: Essentially, you let the commanders of both sides carry out their original plans: the Saints attack down the Main Passage, while the Seducers defend that Passage. Therefore the scenarios you choose to favor the Seducers will pit both forces in a head-on confrontation: the Seducers stand in defense exactly where the Saints make their attack. This gives them the advantage of terrain and the ability to concentrate a large number of Seducers against Saints who will attack in waves rather than a coordinated mass. No matter which scenario you choose, the Seducers are always on the defense. You will soon learn of the Saints' intentions to attack through the Main Passage, and that the Seducers have positioned the bulk of their forces within the Main Passage. Regardless of whom you choose, both commanders will request that you scout out the other's position. Talk to either Ulfri of the Dark Seducers or Kaneh of the Golden Saints.
The basic idea behind the Battle Plans for Cylarne is to position the Dark Seducers in one of either two locations, the Main Passage or the Underdeep and inducing the Golden Saints to attack through one of these locations. You are required to choose whether to help Mania's Golden Saints or Dementia's Dark Seducers to relight the Flame of Agnon. Travel to Cylarne and speak with both the Golden Saint and Dark Seducer sentries. It's been out for quite a long time on the PC and Xbox Live, and the Xbox 360 DVD is coming out in a few weeks if you prefer that route. The quests take thirty hours or so.Īnyway, if you played Oblivion, there's no good reason not to get Shivering Isles unless you're totally sick of the game by now.
Of course, "small" in Oblivion terms is still quite a sizable island to play around in. If you're the type who liked to get lost in the game world, there's plenty to explore here, with all-new enemies and architecture, though the raw size of the world is small compared to the base game. If you liked the questing in Oblivion, Shivering Isles won't disappoint. Shivering Isles is unlike Cyrodiil in appearance, and the majority of the graphics are completely new, which is pretty impressive-not an Ayleid ruin in sight. Anyone who enjoyed Oblivion would enjoy the expansion-new people, quests, places, items, and the like. The story is quite interesting and unique, and since everyone living in the Shivering Isles is crazy to some degree, the characters are colorful as well. Well, I finished the expansion to Oblivion, The Shivering Isles.
